Ride the Rim ATV:
 
Ride the Rim of the famous Waipio Valley on the Big Island!
Ride your own ATV (or enjoy our open air buggy as a passenger). We pass through eucalyptus, ginger forests and former sacred royal land where access is limited. Swim in a private waterfall, see the back side of the Parker Ranch lands, go to the top of Waipi‘o, be one of the few – to Ride the Rim of Waipio Valley!

Equipment & Requirements:
Our ATVs are brand new Honda Ranchers, all automatic, 4 wheel drive and clutch-less. Easy to drive.
• Must be 16 and over (Under 16 may ride 4x4 mule with a guide)
• No tandem riding
• 100-350 pound weight limit
No experience necessary. A comprehensive safety orientation and demonstration drive is mandatory. If, in our guide’s opinion, you do not appear to reliably control the machine during the orientation, we will decline your participation and refund your money. Likewise, if you feel that you are not comfortable on the machines, you may decline participation and receive a refund. Safety gear mandatory and provided.


Includes:
Light refreshments and wet weather ponchos. We go rain or shine but reserve the right to cancel when the weather is, in our opinion, dangerous. You will receive a refund if we cancel due to weather.

What to Bring with You:
Adventure clothing suggested: long, sturdy pants, long-sleeved shirt. CLOSED SHOES ARE MANDATORY. Swimming - We swim under a secluded waterfall. The water is about 72 degrees year-round. Our changing facilities are quite primitive, so wear your swimsuits under your clothing and bring a towel. Water shoes, water socks, reef walkers (however you might call them) are suggested as the smooth river rocks are slippery. The waterfall pool is usually only chest deep in most spots. As this area is a watershed, there are times when the water is high and we reserve the right to cancel swimming when the conditions are clearly hazardous.

Check-in at the Waipi’o Valley Artworks in Kukuihaele near Waipi’o Valley, northwest of Honokaa.

Pa'ani Ranch ATV:

Explore the 220-acre Pa’ani Ranch by ATV!

This beautiful ranch near the Kilauea Volcano boasts lovely scenery and a fun variety of terrains including grassy hills, rolling pastures and gravel roads previously used by Puna Sugar during the Sugar industry era. Guided tours are approximately one and one half hour long, with occasional stops for picture taking. Our entertaining and friendly guides share the history of the ranch and the culture of the Big Island.

Equipment & Requirements:
Our ATV’s are automatic and easy to operate. No previous experience is required. Riders must be at least 16 years of age, in good physical health, and able to follow basic instructions. Sorry, we cannot allow anyone to ride that is pregnant. People with neck or back injuries or other medical conditions should check with their doctor before participating. Minimum Age: 16 years old
Maximum weight: 350 pounds
Dress Recommendations: Long pants.
Dress Requirements: MUST wear closed toe shoes.
