Bike around the rim of Kilauea Crater!
Tour begins with a scenic narrated drive from Hilo to the Visitor's Center at the Hawaii National Volcano Park. The cycling adventure is an 8 mile ride on paved roads around the crater rim, that consists of mostly level terrain with a couple of small uphill sections. Along with the cycling portion, you will hike through an incredible rainforest, walk through the Thurston’s lava tube and up to Halema'uma'u Crater! During your ride you will stop at the Jagger Museum where you can see videos of the volcano erupting and much more! Wear comfortable layered clothing and covered shoes. Bring a camera and sunglasses and sunscreen. Tour vans will follow the cyclists during the tour.
You may leave personal belongings in the van.

Equipment & Requirements:
Must be at least 12 years old, 54" tall and comfortable riding a bike.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Includes:
21 speed bike, helmet gloves, souvenir water bottle and rain jacket if needed are all provided. A specialty picnic style lunch, Island fresh fruit, macadamia nuts, assorted snacks and drinks are provided.
- Vegetarian choice available.
 
What to Bring with You:
Must wear closed-toe shoes.

Tour Departures: 
The tour is approximately 6 hours from the Hilo area and approximately 10 hours from the Kona/Waikoloa area. Departure Times may vary. Call to confirm.

KONA: Buns in the Sun in the Lanihau Shopping Center on Palani Rd.

HILO: Queen Lili’uokalani Gardens or Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Banyan Drive
