Waipio Valley is a must see for a Big Island Visit and is the second most visited site on the island, second only to the volcano. But not every one makes it into this majestic valley since rental cars are prohibited.
The drive down into the valley is an expedition in itself and while in Waipio valley enjoy the waterfalls, Taro patches, lush tropical foliage, wild horses and the locals that live there as your wagon is pulled along by mules.
