Akaka Falls Zip Line
Cascading nearly 250 ft., one of the World’s most spectacular waterfalls passes under your feet. This is the Big Island's newest Zipline Tour over lush deep valleys and rainforest. . Zip over one of the worlds most spectacular waterfalls and enjoy the breathtaking scenery you glide effortlessly through the air. The Akaka Falls Skyline Adventure sets a new standard for family adventure along the Big Island’s famed Hamakua Coast.
Restrictions:
Customers MUST weigh between 80 & 260 lbs. This Policy is STRICTLY ENFORCED for your own safety. Customers will be weighed on site if there are questions and WILL NOT be provided a refund if they are outside the limits. Customers MUST be physically able to hike 1/2 mile over uneven terrain. Customers with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that anyone with who has had recent surgery, especially on ankles, knees or their back, not participate in this tour. Although we try to always make customers comfortable both physically and mentally, some degree of impact on joints or some degree of customer anxiety about zipping is unavoidable. Customers MUST be 10 years or older, all customers under 18 must have a legal guardian sign for them. NO pregnant customers. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on tour. Customers MUST wear athletic shoes or hiking boots.
What to bring and wear:
Participants will be given all necessary safety equipment. Comfortable clothing appropriate for changeable weather is recommended (shorts that are at least knee length are recommended for comfort with harness straps). Participants are required to have close-toed shoes, no sandals. Sunscreen, bug spray and rain gear is provided. We suggest all glasses be secured for safety. All long hair must be secured and dangling jewelry will be prohibited to ensure the safety of the individual. Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance.

Botanical Garden Zip Line
Zip Isle is the exciting new Eco Adventure of a lifetime on the Big Island! You will fly through the rain forest canopy on Hawaii's only accredited Zip Line. Located just 16 miles from Hilo, Zip Isle includes a 7-stage Zip Line and a suspension bridge, and it only takes about two hours. Zip Line lengths from 200 to 1,100 feet!
Our zip line runs above and through the rainforest canopy, not
just across open fields on towers. Fly above the Hanapueo Stream
with its small waterfalls, beautiful pools, and flowering trees
below. Zoom between rainforest trees almost close enough to touch.
As you walk between zips, you can view exotic plants in our gardens
and listen to botanical talks by our guides. At the end of your
tour, you can visit all the areas in World Botanical Gardens – the
Arboretum, the Maze, the Rainbow Walk, the Rainforest Trail and
beautiful Kamaee Falls. Come back to the gardens for a week with
your receipt to see all of the areas.
Restrictions:
Participants must be a minimum age of 8 and a minimum weight of 70 lbs. Participants cannot exceed 270 lbs. We reserve the right to weigh guests. We adhere strictly to these rules to ensure the safety of all participants. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants should be able to walk short to medium distances on well maintained trails, walk up approximately 40 trail stairs and have an adventurous attitude about soaring to heights of over 200ft! The tour is not suitable for women who are pregnant. The tour may not be suitable for anyone with medical conditions, such as severe heart disease or back and neck problems. Tour itinerary may change due to severe weather but the zip line does operate rain or shine. (It actually operates faster in the rain!)

Pa'ani Ranch Zip Line
A fun and exciting tour with 10 ziplines ~ 4 singles and 3 tandems.
Beautiful views of the ocean coastline, a live Volcano (Kilauea’s
smoking Pu’u O’O vent), Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa Mountains and
of course the ranch complete with cattle, horses, donkeys, and many
other farm animals. The lines range from 300’ to 980’ long with
speeds up to 40 miles per hour!
The zipline course has been inspected and approved by an
accredited company and all tour guides are trained and certified.
This zipline course is easy with some walking and climbing of steps
required. We allow guests (and/or family members not actively
participating in the zipline adventure) to take pictures from the
most advantageous points along the course .
